I don’t particularly care about the Grammy Awards, Chris Brown, Rhianna, or Twitter. I do care that there are a spate of young women who say Chris Brown could beat them anytime because he is famous.
Being rich=/=immune from decency.
Fame does not make actions like domestic violence (or DUI, theft, hate crimes) ok.
What are these girls being taught that domestic violence seems like a reasonable trade for sex with a guy who has money/fame?
I know that a lot of those girls are “joking,” but it a) isn’t funny and b) shows a larger deficit in society that the blame is being placed on the victim and the perpetrator is being glorified.
